Wayne Roussel graduated from Northeast Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science in 1975. He has been a licensed insurance agent for the past thirty-five years and is the past President of the Professional Insurance Agents of Greater New Orleans. Wayne has been with Eagan Insurance since March, 2005 and was named Vice President in 2010.
Wayne is a member of the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Association (LIGA) appointed to a three-year term by the Louisiana State Senate. He is also an active member of the River Region Chamber of Commerce.
Wayne is an accomplished cook whose chicken andouille gumbo is legendary. He enjoys fishing, gardening and playing with his grandchildren. Wayne and his wife live in Destrehan.
